Data I Work With
Orders, sales, returns, cancellations, inventory, pricing, commission, advertising, products and categories form the basis of my analysis. I combine Excel, CSV, XML, JSON and API data from T-Soft, Entegra, marketplace panels, ERP systems and advertising platforms according to the business need.
Column names, date formats, product codes and status definitions can differ by source. The most important part of analysis is often matching and aligning the data correctly rather than drawing charts.
Reporting Challenges I Address
Common needs include analysing thousands of sales rows by month, channel, category or SKU; separating cancellations and returns; comparing campaign performance before and after; identifying stock risks; and finding inconsistent records across systems.
Manual reports take time and repeat the same work every week. I make formula-heavy, pivot-heavy and copy-and-paste reporting more reliable and reusable with Python and Excel tools.
Tools I Use
I use Excel and OpenPyXL for daily operational reports, and Python, Pandas and, where needed, PyQt5 for data processing and desktop analysis applications. I also have experience with SPSS, STATA and EViews for academic and statistical analysis.
A report’s suitability for its users matters as much as technical accuracy. I present results as filterable tables, summary indicators, appropriate charts or ready-to-use Excel files. I can build tools that let users upload a file and obtain results without writing code.
From Analysis to Action
A useful report should help answer not only “what happened?” but also “why?” and “what should we do?”. I interpret metrics in their operational and commercial context, highlighting relationships such as declining margins despite revenue growth, rising cancellations despite more sales, or products that fail to justify their advertising spend.
Reporting frequency and detail also depend on the need. A short management summary serves a different purpose from a row-level validation file for an operations team.
Project and Consulting Support
I provide support for simplifying existing reports, combining data sources, automating recurring Excel tasks and developing custom desktop analysis tools.
The aim is a reporting system that the team uses regularly, reduces errors and shortens decision time, rather than an impressive dashboard that goes unused.
